Who we are

…We wanted toys that were going to keep our kids not only entertained but learning and interacting with their environment. Being good for the Earth was the cherry on the cake. We were absolutely amazed at the results. Not only were they playing (for hours), but it gave us a unique opportunity to sit back and watch them play. Small world and imaginative play gave us the chance to learn, to hear their hearts, what they loved, what they feared. This is something we felt every parent should experience…

Why open ended play?

Have you ever heard the term “open ended” and not really understood what it was or how to go about it? Open-ended play is an unstructured, imaginative form of play that allows children to independently explore the world around them.

Okay, so now what? We as parents and care takers are responsible for supplying the toys and materials to make this happen. Not necessarily to direct HOW they are played with, but to simply allow the child to lead and decide how the materials should be used. Thats what makes things like blocks, puzzles and dress-up absolutely perfect for your child.
